Section VIII of the North Cross Passage New Construction Project

North Cross Passage Φ The 15.56 meter ultra large diameter Hairuike slurry shield "Zongheng" shield machine, after completing its reception in the section from Huangxing Road Well to Yangshupu Port Well, set off again and successfully completed the final goal of excavation in the section from Yangshupu Port Well to Anguo Road Well, successfully achieving full penetration.



At Huangxing Road Well, the top cover soil of the shield tunnel starting section is 7.78 meters, which is only 0.52 times the diameter of the shield tunnel. The construction is carried out with ultra-shallow cover soil, and the final surface settlement is less than 2cm. The tunnel floating control is less than 3cm, and there is no staggered platform or step. Create four national records for crossing ultra large diameter shield tunneling, and the highest of the four items for 15 meter level shield tunneling through rail transit in China: minimum clear distance, maximum slope, sharpest curve, and minimum angle.



Shanghai Tunnel has long-term experience in construction of ultra large diameter shield tunneling and a good awareness of shield tail protection. In addition, we have actively developed the most suitable grease injection plan through years of cooperation with our company, and have always controlled the amount of grease in an economical and safe range during the construction process, laying a good foundation for the safe connection of the entire tunnel.


When the tail shield of the Tongtong rear shield was launched, our technical personnel also rushed to the scene at the first moment to check the condition of the tail brush - the tail wire brush was normal, the overall tail brush still maintained a certain degree of angular elasticity, and there was still some grease inside the included angle part, without slurry agglomeration.
